Conversely, other area totals are made up of 2 or more distinct areas that require transport to switch between (e.g. Ski bus). They're grouped under the same ski pass usually due to proximity. Pass price (euros) This is the 6 day ski pass price for an Adult* Price per km 6 day ski pass price divided by the number of skiable km in the pass area This is a value calculation used to compare the value of different size areas. The smaller the number, the better the value of the pass. Sub Area This area is a sub-section of a wider ski area or multi-area group. eg. Meribel is part of the 3 Valleys, but you can purchase a Meribel-only pass. Some sub-areas look like poor value (price per km) because their multi-day pass covers the wider area and therefore you technically get more km/ euro. However we've included them for completeness. *Caveates on pass price + last update date at the bottom of the page Snow sure World Famous Traditional Purpose Built Big town Traditional - A resort has a majority of it's architecture in the local traditional style, often reflecting the original settlement. Purpose Built - A resort was purposefully developed as a centre for skiing, there's little to no evidence of the original settlement if there was one so it's a mix of modern architecture. An area can have both of these tags, it means that it has multiple connecting towns or villages, that each have different styles. More detail will be in the area page. Big town - These are larger than average ski towns, often with a big year round population supported by multiple industries other than mountain pursuits. Snow sure - These resorts offer either Glaciers or majority of their skiing well above 2000m Sort by Give me a second! There's lots of data 1 1 ... 1 ... 1 Price caveat Prices as of April 2023 This is a mix of 22/23 and 23/24 season pricing - depending on when the areas release new pricing. We will revisit this at regular intervals to update. Dynamic Pricing Where dynamic pricing is in place, we've used the middle where a range is supplied. Alternatively we searched for January 2023 prices. The price will increase the closer to the time. Dynamic pricing is especially prevalent in Swiss resorts now High/ Mid / Low season Where split out, we've quoted Mid season pricing. High season includes Chrsitmas, Half terms and Easter and is more expensive. Conversely, Low season is the beginning and end of the season and will be cheaper. Multi-area prices Areas that sit within a bigger Multi area system often charge the multi-area price for multiday tickets over 2 days. So you get access to a wider area than the km quoted, whether you wanted it or not. Need an instructor or a guide?
- Inclusion Policy | Snowclans
Membership Inclusion Policy SnowClans is for everyone, and we mean absolutely everyone, on one condition: That you are not a d*ck to others, for any reason. Why do we feel the need to emphasize this? There are common preconceived ideas about the kind of people that go on ski holidays, including but not limited to wealthy, able bodied, white and more often than not, men. This can make it intimidating for those who don't think they 'fit in' to put themselves out there with a group of other solos. On this basis we want to stress that SnowClans is a community for everyone . Our aim is to acknowledge that there's a lot of people who sit outside the stereotype, as well as fitting in it, and provide a safe space for them to come together. In order to achieve this all our associates must embody it, any evidence that a member or an advertiser does not will mean immediate removal from the site. This is a strictly no-discrimination community. We do not care about our members gender, sexuality, race, physical or mental ability or condition, religion or politics and neither should you. They hold no relevance to a ski holiday, and as they have no impact on your life, they are none of your concern. It's not woke, it's being a decent human being. We are united by a shared passion for sliding down mountains. Let's not ruin that with bigotry. Proudly Queer owned. Visibility matters.

- Ski holidays in Cervinia- Valtournenche
Everything you need to know to plan a trip to Cervinia- Valtournenche - Ambience, pass price, transfer options, airports + insider tips. Compare to others to make sure you find your perfect match. Cervinia- Valtournenche Italy Europe Heart Classics Memoirs Historical Fiction Novels Mysteries Comedy Cervinia Valtournenche Km piste Min Height (m) Max Height (m) 150 1562 3899 Sub Area Multi-Area Collection Yes No Description Cervinia-Valtournenche is located off the Aosta Valley region of Italy. It is situated at the foot of the iconic Matterhorn, offering breathtaking views. The ski resort consists of two main resorts, Cervinia and Valtournenche, each with its own distinct charm and character. Cervinia is a purpose-built ski resort that has been developed over the years to cater to winter sports enthusiasts. The resort has a decent après-ski scene with numerous bars, restaurants, and clubs where visitors can unwind and enjoy the lively atmosphere, whilst the selection is good, the purpose built nature of the town means an eclectic and not necessarily picturesque town compared to other ski resorts. Valtournenche, on the other hand, is a more traditional village with a rich history dating back centuries. Nestled in the valley, it exudes a charming Alpine ambiance and offers a more laid-back atmosphere compared to Cervinia. Visitors can explore its narrow streets, admire the traditional architecture, and experience the local way of life. While Valtournenche has a quieter après-ski scene, there are still several cozy bars and restaurants or retreat to a hotel. Despite being surrounded by first-class big-mountain territory, Valtournenche's ski area mainly consists of gentle blue runs. The ski area is accessible via a gondola, located 1km north of the village center - An infrequent ski-bus service runs between the village and the lift station, but many local hotels also operate shuttle services for their own guests. In terms of suitability for skiers, beginners and intermediates will appreciate the wide, well-groomed slopes that provide a comfortable learning environment - the vast majority of the resort, although labled red, is comparable to blue in many other resorts. Advanced skiers can challenge themselves on steeper terrain and explore the off-piste opportunities if you use the connection to Zermatt. However, due to the extreme altitudes and exposed nature it is sometimes a gamble on the opening of these connecting gondolas. The high-altitude location of the ski area ensures good snow conditions throughout the season, making it a popular choice for early and late-season skiing. The infrastructure in Cervinia is begining to become outdated however, being percieved by many as slow and not the best connected. Overall, Cervinia-Valtournenche offers stunning scenery and extensive cruising slopes - however the value for money is put into question.
