There's no denying this is an amazing value deal with everything you need to get one the slopes & learn included. Chalet Armaillis is a series of appartments and we take over the ground floor which has large communal areas (a massive sofa!), wifi throughout and has regularly refurbished and nicely appointed rooms – there is a choice between twin / double rooms and 4 person (same sex) rooms. The accomodation is 30 seconds from the Super Morzine lift and 4 minutes on foot to the main Pleney gondola. We also have access to the sauna, which is real good after a day on the slopes. Everyone will be in the same boat, group breakfasts, heading off to ski school, being set free for lunches and afternoons & apres as hard as you want. Rinse and repeat all week and you'll be smashing out blue (and reds?) by day 6. Morzine is a year round, buzzing community. No huge purpose built blocks and ugly arcitecture. La Grange d’Alice is a genuine 200 year-old ‘chalet d’alpage’ that has been carefully restored using old, locally sourced materials, it also boasts new fittings and modern facilities such as solar-powered under-floor heating. The chalet retains a real mountain atmosphere while also being comfortable and spacious. Find La Grange d’Alice on Google Maps . On the ground floor you’ll find the large open plan kitchen/dining/living area and two bedrooms. There’s underfloor heating throughout the ground floor (mainly solar powered). The dining room has a door leading to a large decked terrace facing south from the chalet and there is an 8 person heated hot tub. On the first floor there are 4 bedrooms and a large tubbed bathroom. Next to the bathroom there is a sauna free of use and the chalet has 3 separate toilets (two upstairs, one downstairs). On this floor there is a lounge area set up with reading chairs and a TV and Chromecast. Free WiFi throughout the chalet. Large glazed doors leading from the upstairs lounge area to a long balcony with views towards La Plagne and Valmorel. The feeling is airy and spacious, with old wood from the local forest used throughout, and a few other quirky surprises! The chalet is within walking distance to the free funicular (150m) which takes you up to Arc1600 in 4 minutes. In the afternoon you ski right to the back door via a blue or red piste from Arc1600. We accept dogs (1) and they are not allowed on furniture including beds and bedrooms. They need to have their own bed in the living room. They are not allowed to stay at home alone for long periods of time and they need to be very very socialable. There are cats around the property (outside), so they cannot be hateful towards cats. It's so good to see people returning year after year with buddies that they have made on previous trips. "It's like going on holiday with a group of friends you just haven't met yet" Chalet Hubert is our brand new chalet (2018/19) situated in about as central as a spot as you can get. It is just 30 seconds from the main Super Morzine lift and 2 minutes from the Pleney lift. It has all been completely renovated and is new throughout. Brand new beds, bedding, linen. There are six en-suite twin/double bedrooms, there is underfloor heating, large fireplace and a smart TV. It is modern, bright and yet still has the charm and the class of a mountain retreat. This chalet, although maintaining the laid-back vibe HOFNAR is famous for, is ran with a slightly higher level of service than our other chalet.
