Description

Sierra Nevada Ski Resort is located in the Sierra Nevada mountain range in southern Spain, near the city of Granada and is the southernmost ski resort in Europe. It is one of Europe's highest ski resorts, starting at 2100m and reaching an altitude of 3,300 meters (10,800 feet).

The ski area offers a unique combination of stunning mountain scenery, abundant snowfall, and a mild Mediterranean climate. The resort was purpose-built and opened in 1964, making it one of the younger ski resorts in Europe. It has since grown into a popular destination for both local and international skiers.

Sierra Nevada is known for its modern infrastructure and excellent facilities, including a wide range of accommodations, restaurants, and shops.

Access to the ski area is convenient, with a direct road connection from the city of Granada. The gondola goes right from the village of Pradollano.

When it comes to après-ski, Sierra Nevada has a lively atmosphere with a range of bars, restaurants, and clubs. The resort is known for its vibrant nightlife, with many establishments offering live music and entertainment. Visitors can indulge in traditional Spanish cuisine or enjoy international dishes at the various dining options available.
