Overview

This is the perfect trip if you want to ease yourself into Ski touring, as it is one of the least demanding routes. Perhaps you've done and introductory course and want to try a real tour.

For those with exprience - don't let this put you off, the skiing is still out of this world, and this is a rare route for group trips to trek, there's not many providers out there offering these holidays.

The Otztal ski tour beckons you to the picturesque Tyrol region of Austria, easily accessible through Innsbruck. Embark on a six-day, seven-night skiing adventure.

You'll traverse a scenic horseshoe-shaped path, seamlessly connected by comfortable mountain huts. Along this hut-to-hut ski tour, you'll discover the stunning heights of Mt. Similaun, Fineil Spitze, and the crowning jewel, Wildspitze, standing proudly as the tallest summit in the Otztal region at 3770m.

6:1 ratio to guides

Start in Innsbruck - then head to the valley with your group on the 2nd day

The first day we climb to the first hut and ski locall, praciticing avalance safety.

Every day we aim for a different hut via a different peak

Once you start the tour,  you'll stay in cosy, fully catered mountain huts each night

Can I do it?

To fully embrace this  you should possess the physical fitness necessary for six consecutive days of hut-to-hut skiing, involving demanding uphill efforts lasting from 5 to 8 hours each day. Moreover, you must be proficient in skiing across various off-piste snow conditions. A minimum requirement for participation is prior ski touring experience.
